Program Evaluation
We approach evaluation as a learning and accountability exercise that adds value to programs and organisations. Using a range of evaluative approaches including outcome mapping, gender-responsive evaluation, and meta-evaluation, our processes balance rigour with feasibility and utility.
Program Monitoring
We design program monitoring systems that enable adaptative real-time decision making.
Program Design
We collaboratively develop theories of change and design programs that build toward positive change. Our processes reveal underlying assumptions in a manner that enables monitoring and evaluation to contribute to ongoing learning.
Research
We specialize in qualitative and participatory research practices tailored to the complex issues found in fragile and conflict-affected contexts. Our research is guided by the lean research principles of rigor, respect, relevance, and right-sized.
Conflict & Corruption Analysis
We work with partners to identify potential strategic entry points in conflict and corruption dynamics through the application of rigorous ‘sense-making’ frameworks such as causal loop mapping. To learn more about our approach, check out our video on the topic.

We provide coaching, mentoring, and customized training programs to equip staff with new skillsets or deepen mastery in existing competencies.
Our Programs
Besa Global is the operational home of the Corruption, Justice & Legitimacy (CJL) Program. CJL is committed to unlocking the barriers to durable peace and development caused by endemic corruption. Bringing a systems approach to anti-corruption work, CJL specializes in innovative corruption analysis, social norms change, and the intersection of peacebuilding and anti-corruption. Besa Global puts CJL’s processes and findings into practice and feeds our learning from practice back into CJL’s iterative methodology.
