Our engagement on the intersection between conflict and corruption goes back many years. In 2007, we hosted a gathering of scholars and policy makers to discuss the nexus between corruption, conflict, and peacebuilding. Each participant was asked to draft a short thought piece ahead of the gathering at The Fletcher School. Given the paucity of research on these topics in the years since then, we feel it would be a shame to lose the provocative commentaries and insights generated at the time.
